What our certificates are, what LAPT UK accreditation means, and how we approach placement support.
Private institute certificate
Certificates issued by Chetana's Beauty Academy are private institute certificates awarded on completion of a course and its requirements. They are not government or university degrees and are not equivalent to a recognised university qualification. "Professional Master" is the name of a programme title, not a university master's degree.
What LAPT UK accreditation means
Some of our programmes carry LAPT UK accreditation. LAPT UK is an independent accreditation body. Accreditation means the programme meets LAPT UK's standards for that course. It does not mean the Academy is a university, that the certificate is a government qualification, or that the certificate is automatically accepted by every employer or country. Acceptance of any certificate depends on the requirements of the specific employer, salon or authority. Please ask our admissions team which courses carry LAPT UK accreditation and what it covers for your chosen course.
Placement is support, not a guarantee
Where we offer placement support, it is guidance and assistance to help students find opportunities. It is not a guarantee of a job, a specific role, a specific employer or any income. Employment outcomes depend on many factors including a student's own skill, effort, location and market conditions. We do not promise or guarantee employment to any student.
Founder credentials
References to Mrs. Chetana Salian's CIDESCO Switzerland and Kryolan Berlin certifications, and to faculty training with brands such as Schwarzkopf, describe individual training and credentials. They do not mean the Academy is officially affiliated with, accredited by or endorsed by these brands.
